9:00 pm - Can someone tell me who this band is?

I have a blank CD with 9 tracks by some tough guy band. I tried to get some lyrics out of it, but the only coherent thing I could dig out was in track 3, in a breakdown that actually didn't suck at all - strange for breakdowns in general, but the lyrics were:

"I won't be defeated, NOT THIS TIME" (that's the gang vocals in caps... yeah.)

Someone identified it as All Hell Breaks Loose, but I'm not so sure... I can't find documentation of any CD by AHBL with 9 tracks. Only an EP. Someone help?

11:23 pm - MUSICIANS NEEDED in the 772!

Guitarist, vocalist, and drummer looking for a bassist and second guitarist. 6 songs written, ready to be played live, with the exception of the second guitar parts being written. Music is in the vein of Bury Your Dead, Full Blown Chaos, Terror, with sludgy, brutal slam riffs, some off-the-wall mechanical beatdowns and a couple southern-y riffs thrown in, VERY fun... vocals are similar to Winter Solstice and Scarlet.

We need people with equipment and transportation, employed and secure, preferably 18 and over, as we're all 20-22. We practice Tuesdays and Thursdays in Vero Beach, so 772 area is a must, unless you have the gas to make a pilgrimage. We're not militant, we toke and all that, but we're 100% dead serious about our music and plan on making it a career. We're seeking people with the same unbridled passion we share together.

We have our first two songs in an EXTREMELY rough, drums-guitar format up at myspace.com/moshasaurusrex. Fear not the name, it was spur and we're searching out ideas. The newer songs are more techy but not overdone; no retarded time signatures or weird keyboards, just straight hardcore/metal with a fun-loving, positive mentality.

Please use one of the contacts below to express interest, we want to bring this to the top.

11:27 pm - Trance? Drum n Bass? SEX? It's all here.

Alright. You guys, all of you, I don't care who you are, you need to check out my new project. Don't say "ugh, but Michael, I hate techno!" because most of our fans do, too.

Please check it out. It's trance and drum n bass with vocals centered around sex. Nothing else, just sex. It's funny and it's provocative. It's myself, the drummer of Kill This Glamour, along with AJ, keyboardist of My Fair Verona. Best of all, it's free to download on our myspace. CHECK IT OUT DUDE.

Treat yoself, nigga.

Bring an unwrapped toy for admission. You can get something at the Dollar Tree. We want this show to be as sick as it can possibly be! If you don't have plans, and you're in the area, bring friends and go! If you have plans and you're 500 miles away, cancel your plans, buy a plane ticket, and go! It's for a good cause. Toys for Tots sponsored! It's Kill This Glamour's first show in months! And Drowned Out and My Fair Verona are playing... FL creams over those guys. DO IT. <333

X-Posted across the universe.

1:35 pm - Sick show. Sick sick sick. Sick.

Sick's the word now, right? Check it out. It's a local show, it's all ages, it's only $7, and all of the bands need the support. It's in MELBOURNE. Straight up hardcore show, lots of "mosh" and such, and my band is playing (not that it matters, without us this show would still be ridiculous.)

It's at Carver Park Community Center (click for directions.) Doors are at 6:30. Here are the wonderful bands that are playing.

Kill This Glamour!!I'm in this one.
Call To Preserve
Seneca I play in this one, too.
500 Pound Machine Gun
Life Without Shame

Support the locals, it's going to be eeeexxxxxcellent. Melbourne shows, ALWAYS good. Holla back, youngin.

Here you go, the person you could call, is NOTHING + DOUG

We have a list set up of prces, and pictures are done perfesionally.

Want a flier for an up comming show, $10.00 and I could have one made up fast. along with a set or 100 fliers.

Mind you, these pictures represent you and your band, Quality is a mesure. On top of it... We have quantiy and Quality... Go ahead, for 4 bands to message me here, get a free trial on promo shots, or flier making... free photo session and all.

4:37 pm - Location, Location, Location!

So...where is everybody located at?

I am in....*chokes*...Miami...

Oh, I am going to Ft Lauderdale tonight for the Soulfly show, anybody in the vast surrounding areas going? Thinking on advertising the community...maybe hand out a few flyers...which I must make now if I am to do this.

I'll be honest, I am not really familiar with Soulfly these last years, but I liked Sepultura back in the day... and did get the first Soulfly cd so...I don't know what to expect tonight.

I recently Bought a copy of Opeth's "Orchids" (first opeth album i bought) and i Bought Dream Theater's "Metropolis Pt2: Scenes From a Memory" and i must say they were an excellent buy. The one that really blew me away was Scenes from a memory its unexplainable good just something you have to experiance yourself. Such a good storyline to this album too (very sad though) it grabs you in and doesnt let go. Anyone bought any good cd's lately? O.o

12:51 am - The beginning of something beautiful....

Just moved to Florida from DC. I live in St. Augustine, which apparently has a complete lack of ANY kind of scene, much less a decent metal scene. Although it is nice to know that there are others in the state with good taste. By the way... the new Samael is bloody excellent.

current mood: narcisistically annoyed
